They received a very special gift....a new little baby boy/girl. Mom's first name and Dad's first name had chosen the name child's name for their new little bundle of joy and decided to call him/her name child is called. It seemed to Mom's first name that child's first name would never be born, but he/she finally arrived at name of hospital where child was born at exactly time of child's birth. Mom's first name was filled with joy when she heard Doctor or midwife name say, "Congratulations, you have a handsome baby boy/beautiful baby girl." Wrapped snugly in a soft, warm blanket, child's first name was handed to mom's first name, who held her new little miracle for the first time. She thought child's first name was the most beautiful baby she had ever seen and that he/she was so small and cuddly. Child's first name's birth was a brand new beginning for his/her mommy and daddy. Child's first name will get all the love and care he/she needs from his/her new family, and he/she will bring lots of joy and happiness to their lives.

When they heard the good news, they showered him/her with lots of gifts. Some were clothes, some were blankets to keep him/her nice and warm, some were bottles, and oh, some were diapers, of course. All the nurses thought child's first name was the cutest little boy/girl, and they enjoyed taking care of him/her. Even the doctors were amazed at this new little arrival into the world. After child's first name came home from the hospital, he/she soon settled into daily routines. Mom's first name was very excited to give child's first name his/her first bath. Afterwards, she gently covered him/her with powder and dressed him/her in tiny, warm baby clothes. Mom's first name thought about all the babies who are born all around the world and realized how all parents must feel... that their baby is the most beautiful of all. And, they are right. Many people came to visit child's first name. Friends' and family members' names had been eagerly waiting for child's first name to be born. When they saw him/her, they thought child's first name was the most precious little person and that his/her skin was so soft and smooth. Every day, mom and dad's first names think of how blessed they are that child's first name has become a part of their lives and how full their lives will be in the years ahead. There will be laughter and joy, boo-boos and tears, and really big hugs to chase away the fears. Mommy and Daddy are looking forward to child's first name's first smile, the first time he/she crawls, his/her first steps, the first time he/she feeds him/herself, and even that all important potty training time. Often, on bright sunny days, Mommy sits outside and just holds and cuddles child's first name. She enjoys rocking him/her and singing to him/her. As she looks at child's first name, her heart is full of love for this special little gift she has received. Daddy enjoys helping Mommy take care of child's first name. Sometimes he reads to him/her, sometimes he feeds him/her, and sometimes he even helps give child's first name his/her bath. These are very special times for Daddy and child's first name. While mom and dad's first name were waiting for child's first name to be born, they prepared a room especially for him/her. They placed a cozy, warm bed for child's first name to sleep in and a big rocking chair so that they can hold and rock him/her, or just sit and look at him/her. Sometimes, Mommy and Daddy take child's first name for long walks, and child's first name just smiles and coos and makes cute little faces all along the way. As they walk, Mommy and Daddy talk about all the plans they have for child's first name's future and all the exciting things they will do together as a family. Making memories that will last forever....
