Child’s name was very
excited. When she/he saw the
brightly lit trees and
pretty decorations, she/he
knew it was almost
Christmas, the day children around the world celebrate
the birth of Jesus.
Child’s name anxiously looked
forward to Christmas. She/he
knew that Christmas was the
time when Santa Claus
visited children around the
world with a sleigh full of
gifts. This Christmas,
child’s name had a very special
Christmas wish.
Child’s name decided to write a
letter to tell Santa of her/his
special Christmas wish.
After finding some
Christmas stationery, friends’ and family members’ names
helped Child’s name compose her
letter. “Dear Santa, I
would love to visit you at
the North Pole. This is my
special Christmas wish.”
Mrs. Claus was baking
cookies for Santa and the
elves when the letter from
child’s name arrived. They were
all tickled with her/his unique
request. Santa decided to
fly his reindeer sleigh to
pick up Child’s name in home town and state.
Santa wanted to go right
away. His elves raced to
the stables to get the
reindeer and Christmas
sleigh ready. As they
worked, they talked about
all the Christmas
decorations at the North
Pole and how some of them,
especially the manger scene,
made them think of the very
first Christmas long ago.
It appeared that the whole
town came out to greet
jolly old Santa, almost
everyone in home town and state. They all
thought Child’s name was
very fortunate, indeed, to
be going to the North Pole
with Santa Claus.
Child’s name jumped into the
sleigh. As Santa handed
child’s name the reins, he told
child’s name how happy he was to
be taking her/him to the North
Pole, and how anxious the
elves were to meet her/him.
Child’s name was so excited that
she/he almost forgot to wave
goodbye to friends’ and family members’ names. All the people of
home town and state,
were happy for child’s name
because her/his Christmas wish
was coming true.
The large, green sleigh was
warm and cozy. Child’s name
notice that the eight
reindeer were wearing
sleigh bells that made
joyous, jingling sounds.
In what seemed five blinks
and a wink, child’s name arrived
at Santa’s house.
“Welcome to the North Pole,
Child’s name !” exclaimed Santa.
“There are so many good
children around the world
this year that we are
really rushing to get all
the toys ready.”
“Every year we give gifts
to the children around the
world,” said Mrs. Claus.
“Santa often says he would
have liked to have been one
of the wise men who gave
gifts to the baby Jesus.
We just hope our gifts will
remind the boys and girls
of how God gave the world
the most beautiful gift of
all when Jesus was born in
Bethlehem.”
Santa and Mrs. Claus took
child’s name on a tour of the
workshop. Child’s name was amazed
to see a room full of busy
elves making Christmas
gifts. There were dolls,
balls, airplanes, kites,
teddy bears, and lots of
other toys too.
Child’s name saw on of the elves
reading a book. The book
had the name “Child’s name” in it. “Hey,
that’s for me!” chuckled
child’s name .
Santa asked child’s name if she/he
would help the elves wrap
some of the presents. “Of
course I will,” said child’s name .
“Won’t friends’ and family members’ names
be surprised to hear that I
wrapped gifts with Santa
Claus.”
Santa stood on his tiptoes
to load the sleigh with
toys. He asked child’s name to
help him. “Pick out some
especially nice presents
for friends’ and family members’ names,”
he told child’s name . Then, Santa
asked child’s name to help him
deliver all the gifts
tonight - Christmas Eve!
Off they went to faraway
places to pass out presents
to boys and girls from around
the world. Child’s name felt such
brotherly love and realized
the special pleasure that
comes only from giving to
others. “That,” thought
Child’s name, “must be how
God felt when He gave the
very first Christmas gift,
His son Jesus.”
